New Preview Images Reveal More From ‘Star Trek: Section 31’ Streaming Movie

 

Last week we had a handful of new images and now, ahead of this Friday’s release of Star Trek: Section 31, Paramount has dropped a whole bunch of new ones that include posed publicity shots as well as more scenes from the streaming movie.

In Section 31, Michelle Yeoh reprises her fan-favorite role of Emperor Philippa Georgiou—a character she played in Star Trek: Discovery—who joins a secret division of Starfleet. “Tasked with protecting the United Federation of Planets, she also must face the sins of her past.” The streaming film also stars Omari Hardwick as Alok Sahar, the “mastermind” of the Section 31 team, Kacey Rohl as the younger Rachel Garrett, Sam Richardson as the Chameloid scientist Quasi, Robert Kazinsky as the mech suit-wearing Zeph, Sven Ruygrok as the (possibly) Vulcan or Romulan “Maniac” Fuzz, Humberly Gonzalez as the Deltan Melle, and Miku Martineau as young Philippa Georgiou.

Box Office: ‘Dog Man’ Shows Bite With $36 Million Opening Weekend

“Dog Man” enjoyed a barking good start at the domestic box office, collecting a leading $36 million from 3,885 North American cinemas in its first weekend of release. Universal and DreamWorks Animation’s animated canine-crime-fighting film, set in the “Captain Underpants” universe, opened at the higher end of expectations thanks to great buzz and pent-up demand for family offerings.
